CQ Tec Services are you local technical services
provider operated by partners Grant Suthers and Kim Asher. We offer calibration and metrology services from
our Electrical, Pressure and Torque measurement laboratory. We also specialise in dental equipment
engineering, repairs, maintenance, installation and technical design.
Our Team offer expertise gained through an
extensive and diverse range of technical backgrounds. Our
dedication to quality outcomes is second to none.

Kim completed a Bachelor of Applied
Science at the C.I.A.E., now C.Q. University, in 1978 and worked in research for the CSIRO Division of Entomology for 12
years.
While working for the CSIRO, Kim also completed an Associate
Diploma in Electrical Engineering in 1986. Over the past 30 years, Kim has also operated a small
biomedical engineering business, which was integrated with CQ Tec Services in
2001.

Grant has 40 years technical
experience ranging from broadcast engineering and operations to vibration testing and condition
monitoring, non-destructive and mechanical testing. Grant holds current NATA-signatory status as a
consultant with Axs Testing in hydrostatic pressure and
leak testing to Australian and American Standards for gas and petroleum pipelines, pressure vessels and piping.
Grant has been a consultant to industry for the past twenty two years and for twenty of those, he
has been involved in dental equipment engineering.

Allison Chirio completes the CQ Tec Services team, having joined us in
October of 2014 as office administrator (and technician wrangler). Allison has a broad range of experience in
industries as diverse as Nursing, Television & Radio, Wholesaling and Traffic Control.
Having an extensive background in hospital administration
and theatre nursing, logistics, sales and business administration, Allison is now enjoying the challenge of providing dental, veterinary and medical
practices with engineering services and growing our calibration and metrology laboratory.
